Sunday, January 8 was our first meeting of the New Year at Prajna Zendo. We expressed our appreciation for Gerhard Ryuko Niklas, who is taking on the role of Practice Leader for the year, with the Practice Leader Entering Ceremony; then Musai Roshi give a dharma talk on, Ab Ovo, Latin for "from the beginning" (literally, "from the egg). That talk was recorded, and now found on this website under "Dharma Talks."

After our 9 AM service, two periods of zazen, and the dharma talk, we shared the first potluck lunch of the year. Note that the potluck is usually held the on first Sunday of each month. You can check the monthly calendars for scheduling--see links to calendars on left..
